Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. Vercel may process data in the EU and in the United States. The legal basis for running the site is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (operating and securing the website). Server logs can include IP address, time and the address requested.

Forms

Employer, candidate, network and startup forms all go to the same form at Formspree Inc. The legal basis is your consent, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. For employer enquiries, Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR also applies where the message is a step before a contract.

Required fields are marked. Without them we cannot match the message to a person. You are not legally obliged to provide the data.

CVs

We process a CV and profile only with your explicit consent, for placement in cooperation with licensed partners. We share a profile with named partner employers only with a second, optional consent.

We keep the CV and profile until placement and for up to 6 months after placement, then delete them. You can request earlier deletion at any time at info@afrika-consult.com. The file is not stored at a public URL. Please do not send health data or other special-category data under Art. 9 GDPR. We do not ask for it.

Other enquiries are kept for the life of the correspondence. A fixed period after that is not set yet.

Booking

No booking tool is connected, and none is loaded. Messages go through the form or WhatsApp.

Measurement

No analytics script is loaded and no cookie is set for it. Clicks on WhatsApp, forms and the checklist are noted only in your browser’s session storage. Those notes do not leave your device.

Fonts and cookies

Inter is stored on this server. Loading a page does not contact a third-party font service. No non-essential cookies are set, so there is no cookie banner. If the host sets a strictly necessary cookie, that is described in the host’s documentation.

Unfinished form answers sit in session storage on your device so a dropped connection does not wipe them. They are removed after a successful send or when the browser session ends. This is not a cookie.

Embeds

External media, such as Instagram or YouTube, are not loaded when you open a page.

Recipients and transfers

Recipients are the providers named above, where they are actually used, and – only with separate consent – named partner employers and licensed partners.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, where the conditions are met, and the right to withdraw consent. You can complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna, dsb.gv.at.
